CONCLUSION

Choosing which hotel to stay at during our stay in Vancouver, we had a choice between the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown and the Residence Inn Vancouver Downtown. As a Hilton Diamond member, I was inclined to booking the Hilton hotel but because of it's location not being in the city center, we ended up choosing the Residence Inn. The only Marriott hotel we have stayed at was at an airport hotel in Los Angeles in 2013 and we enjoyed it so we thought we'd try another Marriott hotel.

We arrived at the hotel around 8:15pm and was helped by a friendly associate who assigned us a room on the tenth floor. She informed us of the breakfast hours as well as their amenities including an indoor pool and jacuzzi on the second floor. The room we got was spacious, modern and had a kitchen, although we were not able to use it. The food selection on the breakfast buffet was very good as well and I specifically loved their make your own waffles πŸ˜‹ The location was also perfect since it's really in the center and that it's minutes away from Canada Place and Gastown. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here as the staff were friendly, the rooms were nice and it has a great location. In case you are looking for a hotel in Vancouver, the Residence Inn is highly recommended πŸ‘
