Check-in
We took the complimentary shuttle from the airport around 12:20pm and were at the hotel in a few minutes. We were helped by a friendly associate with the check-in process and was asked a 2,000 Peso deposit which was reasonable. A welcome drink voucher was also given to us which was consumable in the pool bar and moments later, we were on our way to our room 👍

There is a long (and beautiful) corridor to the elevators 😉

Exploring the Area
Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park
The main reason we stayed for two nights in Puerto Princesa (and maybe most of the tourists here as well) was to be able to visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Puerto Princesa Underground River. The hotel is about 1.5 hours to the Underground River. There is also the famous Honda Bay which is about 20-minute ride from the hotel.
From the hotel, you can walk to the Capitol Building and the Cathedral 👍
Palawan Provincial Capitol
Immaculate Conception Cathedral
CONCLUSION
It was our first time in Puerto Princesa and we were glad we chose to stay in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and always willing to help. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms are spacious and nice. I personally loved the hotel's contemporary Filipino design, matched with bright colors making the hotel as a whole very welcoming 😉 The selection from the breakfast buffet was extensive and varies everyday. Lastly, the location is perfect since it is walking distance (or a tricycle ride) to the Cathedral and the Kinabuchs Grill and Bar (their Kare-Kare is to die for 😋) which is ranked as the number 3 restaurant in Puerto Princesa is just steps away.
Overall, we really had a very enjoyable stay here and will definitely stay here again when we are back to Puerto Princesa, Palawan 😍
